From Zermatt to Cervinia with the mountain railways... The new 3S cable car will connect the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise mountain station with the Testa Grigia valley station in Italy on schedule from 1 July 2023.
Taking a trip to Italy in summer to enjoy polenta, vino and real Italian cappuccino? No problem any more. Because on 1 July, the 3S railway from the Klein Matterhorn to Testa Grigia is scheduled to open. Then you can cross the Alps on dry feet. In addition, the entire crossing will be wheelchair-accessible. A seamless connection between the areas of Zermatt and Cervinia, which has been sought for 80 years, is thus guaranteed.
